SIAL China trade show has been recognized as one of top three global food exhibitions and an annual world food and beverage professional meeting place covering the full industry chain. After 22 years of exploration and cultivation in the Chinese market, SIAL China will launch the first SIAL China South at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center on October 28–30, 2021. This is SIAL China's first step in its journey to enable new upgrades in the Chinese market, and it is also the tenth leg of the SIAL Global Food Show Series.
The 22nd SIAL China recently concluded at the Shanghai Pudong New International Expo Center. The three-day show attracted 146,994 professionals from all over the world, and more than 4,500 exhibitors put more than 300,000 products on display across the 180,000 square meters of exhibition space.
Since entering the Chinese market in 2000, SIAL China has seen a nearly 1,300% increase in the number of exhibitors and close to a 1,000% increase in visitors. “After establishing SIAL China as the No. 1 international Food & beverage event in China and more globally in Asia, we are now ready to launch more events and develop some regional platforms to get closer to the local markets!” said Nicolas Trentesaux, the CEO of SIAL Global Network,” China is such a big booming market, and it is worth offering more opportunities for Producers & Visitors to come and develop business to meet consumer demand. Below are some of the latest figures from a post-show survey:
1. Overall satisfaction — exhibitors 97.82%; visitors 92%.
2. Exhibitors’ regions of interest — East China >50%; South China, North China, and Central China >30%; All China 28.35%.
3. Interested in attending SIAL China South — exhibitors 76.95%; visitors 92.50%.
The latest sales figures of international exhibition space also showed the appeal of the SIAL China brand. Up to now, countries that have confirmed participation include the United States, France, Russia, Denmark, New Zealand, Fiji, Japan and South Korea. The actual sales rate of the international exhibition area has exceeded 70%.
